An aspiration of mine in life is to write a real children's book. I want to write a storybook with great illustrations and has a great impact on children. Yet, I have not made a plan for this or have I stumbled upon a propmt for my story. Maybe this journal will persuade me to look into this or even to write a story while in this class. I have written small stories in the past, but none were any that I felt would be something to turn into a real storybook.
Since I am a political science major and I do enjoy politics, I could see myself writing a children's story based on politics. Maybe something to show children how democracy works or what it means to be an active citizen in society. I believe that these are important topics that many children are not exposed to or aware of. If I wrote a story that became popular, maybe many children would become aware of our political society.
