Barnes and Noble

This past Thursday, I spent three hours in the children’s section of Barnes and Noble along with my friend Ashley. She was looking for books for her sister's baby and I was browsing the shelves looking at different genres of children's literature and just to see what was there. I came across many books that I remember reading when I was younger along with books that seem interesting for me to read now. I pulled quite a few books off the shelves to browse. I enjoyed reading many story books that I had read when I was younger and I found many new ones that I felt would interest me. I ended up buying about fifteen children’s books that day both story books and novels. I was telling my mom about this and at first she thought I was crazy to spend my money on books that she was sure we had in the attic, but then I believe that she recognized that this is the most interest I have taken in reading since I was in middle school. With her being a high school English teacher I am sure she is proud of my interest in good writing. I enjoyed looking at the many books that are out for children. I am sure I will be back for another afternoon of browsing.
